Der Tupac Amaro Fraktion

Another collaboration with Janjoost Jullens, accumulating our feelings portrayed in earlier projects together, protesting against unnecessary hoopla and fuss.

We created protest group Der Tupac Amaro Fraktion, borrowing strongly from both South American as well as East German movements and designed and screen printed posters and T-shirts, produced an important manifesto and helped people protest against what they didn’t want to see anymore.

Check the video for a short recap of it all.

Waddup raza? Nie wieder Hoopla.

How delightful would this world be without big, shiny and hectic; without complex, precarious and important? Walhalla up to Nirwana. Salutary rest. And we just have to do it!

For once, stay seated. Have a good rum. Listen to reggae music. Remember that little word perhaps.

Mañana, mañana.

The enemy is strong, the Hoopla and Fuss are everywhere. Therefore support the struggle of Der Tupac Amaro Fraktion. We are ‘La Chancleta del Pueblo’, the flip flop of the people. Spread our message, spread our posters.

Our icon is Don Tupac Amaru II. In 1780 he lead the Inca uprising against the conquistadores and thereby inspired ages of resistance. We find his traces everywhere, from the extreme left in Berlin to the core of Westcoast Hiphop. Don Tupac Amaru II was a hero. Legend has it the Spanish tried to quarter him but he was too strong. Sadly he did perish by plan B, decaptation.

Let us never forget the bravery and fighting spirit of Don Tupac. Let us try, by any means necessary, to equal his heroism. Let us diligently eliminate all Fuss and dispel the Hoopla. Rise up! Or better yet: for once stay seated. Have a good rum. Listen to reggae music. Remember that little word perhaps.

Mañana, mañana.
